With more than 20 years of experience, Jennifer Wolf develops collaborative relationships between regulators, carriers, employers, and employees to maintain a balanced and sustainable workers’ compensation system.
Ms. Wolf leads a staff of 30 professionals who use workers’ compensation data to develop important tools including Minnesota’s annual Ratemaking Report, policy coverage verification services, and experience rating modifications. Ms. Wolf has authored articles, given presentations, and hosted a podcast which explored the many facets of workers’ compensation including healthcare delivery, labor force dynamics, and insurance trends.
Prior to joining MWCIA, Ms. Wolf was the Executive Director of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) where she facilitated education and information sharing to find solutions that reduced harm and aided recovery from occupational injuries and illnesses. Ms. Wolf has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Kansas.
Kathleen Peterson is Senior Vice President of Operations and Corporate Treasurer/Secretary of MWCIA. Ms. Peterson also serves in the role of treasurer for SPECTRUM Partners LLC. Ms. Peterson has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. She has over 28 years of experience in the property and casualty industry.
In an executive capacity, Ms. Peterson has been responsible for directing the operations of claims departments, customer service and member processing centers in both the finance and insurance industries, ranging from startup companies to large corporations.
As Sr. Vice President of Operations, Ms. Peterson is responsible for the day-to-day operations of MWCIA including policy and statistical data collections, underwriting, accounting, human resource, test audit, Assigned Risk applications processing, administration and facilities.
Muhammad Kashif is Vice President of Information Technology at MWCIA. A graduate of the Minnesota State University Moorhead, Mr. Kashif has worked with MWCIA for more than two decades in the information systems department, including role as an application programmer, program analyst, system analyst, senior programmer/analyst, web software developer/ senior DBA, and technical project manager. Mr. Kashif has broad and extensive technical knowledge and a great passion for technology. Mr. Kashif is a leader with proven experience in building successful business partnerships, delivering results, creating and implementing effective business solutions. As head of Information Technology at MWCIA, he is responsible for IT administrative functions and project management, serves on internal and external committees, and manages IT staff and consultants.
Andrea Everling is Vice President of Actuarial Services at MWCIA. Ms. Everling has a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science/Finance from Drake University. Ms. Everling is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Before joining MWCIA, Ms. Everling worked on the carrier side performing ratemaking and reserving for commercial insurance product, including Workers’ Compensation. Ms. Everling is passionate about providing data-driven insights into the Workers’ Compensation environment in Minnesota. In her role, Ms. Everling is responsible for all the Association’s actuarial, financial data, and statistical production functions, as well as the annual Minnesota Ratemaking Report.
